I’m Amelia Cronan, the creator behind Silicon Bayou. I was born and raised in New Iberia, Louisiana — and after more than a decade of higher education, global travel, and professional work across multiple industries, I’ve returned home to build tech for real people.
I studied political science and language in New Orleans and Berlin, earned a master’s degree in political science, and spent years working in nonprofit strategy, public art, public policy, data systems, and regenerative agriculture. I’ve worked everywhere from parliament to pasture, and I bring that full-spectrum experience into every project I take on.
